Just few weeks after playing his testimonial game, ex-Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo is set to sign for FC Ifeanyi Ubah FC and play in the last 12 games of the season.
Yobo has signed an ambassadorial deal with the organisers of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The League Management Company, (LMC) organisers of the NPFL on Tuesday, June 21 announced that Yobo has signed a deal which will make him eligible to play for any interested club in the last 12 games of the season.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Pulse Sports has learnt will be signing the former Everton defender due to his friendship with the proprietor, Ifeanyi Ubah.
Yobo and the billionaire business man, Ifeanyi Ubah have seem to have struck up a friendship.
Ifeanyi Ubah was heavily involved in the planning of the testimonial of Yobo at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium last month and his close associates have informed that the former Nigeria international will be joining his club.
Yobo has the record of the most caps for the Super Eagles and played at Marseille, Standard Liege, Everton, Fenerbache and Norwich City during his career.
