Ryan Giggs could announce his Manchester United departure live on television on Thursday, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Giggs is set to contribute to ITV's coverage of the Euro 2016 quarter-final between Poland and Portugal as a pundit, and is likely to be asked about his future with his contract expiring.
The former winger could then use that time to finally announce that he is to leave United after 29 years, with new manager Jose Mourinho earmarking Manchester City's Brian Kidd as a potential replacement to the 42-year-old.
