Pillars Star Striker Set To Complete Move To Enyimba

After his botched move to Vietnam, Kano Pillars striker Gambo Mohammed will soon complete a transfer to champions Enyimba.

A club official informed: “Gambo will soon join us. He would have signed with his Pillars teammate Afelokai before he opted to try his luck in Vietnam

“We will soon conclude on his transfer.”

Enyimba will be Gambo's first major club outside hometown club Pillars, who he has been playing for since 2006.

Enyimba are banking on Gambo’s international experience as they aim for a third CAF Champions League trophy.

The striker has featured for the Super Eagles at full and ’B’ levels as well as for Pillars in continental competitions.

Gambo failed to pursue completely a transfer to Vietnam in the New Year with player and agent disagreeing on whether he was granted an entry visa to the Asian country.
