Nigerian Born MLS Top Striker Pleads For Super Eagles Chance

After his impressive last season where he won the MLS Championship with Portland, Fenando Adi is now pleading for a chance in the Super Eagles team.

The 25-year-scored 18 goals as Portland won their first ever MLS Championship and he thinks he deserves a chance in Nnigeria's national team.

With the retirement of striker Emmanuel Emenike, Adi feels there is a vacuum he can fill in the Super Eagles team.

“I can be another Emenike for Nigeria as a  target forward as I’m good in the air and I can hold the ball upfront for the other players,”  Adi said.
“I can bring a different dimension to the team.
“I have spoken to the coach and he himself has asked about me.

“This year, hopefully I will be in the Super Eagles.”
