Turkish side Bursaspor has terminated the contract with their
out-of-favour left back Taye Taiwo according to a report on the club's
official website.
Taiwo who unsuccessful in his trial at Polish side Legia Warsaw in
January has not made an appearance for Bursaspor this season after being
surplus to requirement at the beginning of the season under manager
Senol Gunes.
The statement reads, “Our club have reached an agreement with Taye Taiwo
to mutually terminate his contract. The left back previously played for
Olympique Marseille, AC Milan, Queens Park Rangers and Dinamo Kiev.
He made a total of 27 appearances for Bursaspor since joining. Taiwo has
also been capped 54 times by Nigeria and scored 5 goals for the
national team.
