The French champions clash with the Liga leaders in the Champions League on Wednesday as they continue their quest for glory on all four fronts this season.
The Brazil centre-back is fully aware of the threat posed by the Catalans but is keen for his team-mates to impose their own game on Luis Enrique's side.
"We know that the first leg at home will be very important," he explained.
"Although we face a great rival in Barca, we will try to play our game and keep the ball. With our individual quality we will try to suprise them.
"Barca are very effective on the counterattack and have great strikers. To me, Messi, Neymar and Suarez are among the three best players in the world.
"We have the dream of beating Barcelona and qualifying for the semi-finals. And winning the Champions League is the club's aim."
The former AC Milan man is all to aware of Neymar's ability, having played with on many occasions with Brazil over the last few years.
"He's unpredictable, we cannot know what he will do and don't know where he's going with his dribbles."
