Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is set to continue his recovery from injury by playing for the club's Under-21s side in their trip to Fulham.
The Netherlands international suffered an ankle injury against Swansea
City on February 21 which ruled him out for around two months.
He
made his return to action for the Under 21s in last week's 1-1 draw
with Leicester City as he played 62 minutes and claimed an assist for
Sean Goss' equaliser.
He then replaced Wayne Rooney for the
final two minutes of the Red Devils' defeat to Everton on Sunday after
the England captain received a kick to his knee.
The 31-year-old
will be afforded another chance to prove his fitness at Craven Cottage
where he is joined in the squad by the likes of Adnan Januzaj and Tyler
Blackett.
