 A late goal from Jonjo Shelvey was enough to give Swansea victory over Southampton at St Mary's as Ronald Koeman's side slumped to a surprise 1-0 defeat.

The midfielder struck from range with just eight minutes of normal time remaining as the Saints saw their hopes of finishing in the top four dented.
