Manchester United are sweating on the fitness of Angel Di Maria ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Swansea.
The Argentina international suffered an injury during Tuesday's
training session at Carrington, with initial fears of a recurrence of a
pelvis concern suffered over the festive period.
Di Maria
missed three games after a similar breakdown at Christmas and his
involvement against Swansea, whom beat United on the opening day of the
season, is now in doubt.
The winger impressed during the early
stages of the campaign, with three goals and four assists in his opening
six games, but has struggled since with one goal in his last 16 games.
Di Maria's possible setback adds to Louis van Gaal's fitness woes, with
Phil Jones, Michael Carrick and Robin van Persie also all currently
sidelined.
