Arsenal 5-0 Aston Villa: Ozil & Walcott on target as Gunners cruise

The north Londoners were without star man Alexis Sanchez on Sunday but made light work of Paul Lambert's men handing the visitors their third Premier League defeat in a row.


Arsenal cruised to victory over Aston Villa with goals from Olivier Giroud, Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott, Santi Cazorla and Hector Bellerin handing the Gunners a 5-0 victory at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger was forced to make changes to his side with Alexis Sanchez missing but both Walcott and Ozil started, while new signing Gabriel had to make do with a place on the bench.

However, the Gunners were quickly into their stride and opened the scoring after just eight minutes with Giroud beating Brad Guzan in the Villa goal after great work by Ozil.
