Cristiano Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes has been handed another accolade
commending his five consecutive Agent of the Year prizes at the Globe
Soccer Awards.
The Portugal star's chief representative was
honoured for a fifth year in succession at the ceremony at the end of
December, with the achievement now being recognised through a special
trophy.
Mendes, who first lifted the award in 2010, received his
latest recognition of his ongoing work with some of the game's top
footballers, including Ronaldo and fellow Real Madrid star James
Rodriguez at Marca's offices in Spain.
The Spanish newspaper are
the official partner of the Globe Soccer Awards and could hand out a
similar award to other figures who are successful in winning consecutive
prizes at the annual event in future years.
