Daniel Sturridge marked his return to Liverpool after injury with a goal as high-flying Wwest Ham were downed at Anfield.

Raheem Sterling broke the deadlock in the second half before Sturridge, making his first appearance in five months, fired home emphatically after latching on to a Philippe Coutinho pass.
