Lacazette already better than Gareth Bale, says Lyon President

Thegoalmac has learned that Alexandre Lacazette is already better than Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, according to Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas.

The 23-year-old emerged last season with 15 goals in Ligue 1 but has already found the back of the net 19 times this term, leading to inevitable rumours of a move to one of Europe's biggest clubs.

I completely disagree with Aulas, comparing Bale a player that has proved himself at one the biggest club in Europe to an unknown player that plays in French league, with due respect to French league, is just unbelievable and a joke sha. He has a long way to go to be as good as Bale. My Opinion though. Continue for what Lyon president said after the cut and tell us if you agree with him or not.

"You can't put a figure on it," he said to Le Parisien. "What's the name of the Welshman at Real Madrid? I think Alexandre is a lot better. But Alexandre doesn't have a price, so it's pointless thinking of one.

"He is an intelligent boy, he knows the team and the coach allow him to express himself and to become one of the best European strikers.

"The OL will grow faster than all its major European competitors. Would Alexandre be wise to leave before Euro 2016? I do not think so.

"The question is whether we can reach the Champions League, we need to do that to keep our best players."

Lacazette signed a two-year contract extension in September 2014, which means he is tied to Lyon until June 2018.
