I don't Know where I will play football next year, says Messi Hehe

Hmmm, Lionel Messi has paved the way for more speculation over his future after admitting he “doesn’t know where he’ll be next year”.

The Barcelona superstar, talking ahead of the Ballon d’Or gala in Zurich, was asked if he thought he’d play for anyone other than current employers Barcelona, and boyhood favourites Newell’s Old Boys, a club he has often mentioned as a potential destination when he ends his time in Europe.


The Argentine said: “I am not sure what’s going to happen, whether I’ll go back to Newell’s. I don’t know where I’ll be next year.

“I always said I’d like to finish my career at Barca and then play at Newell’s but nobody knows what the future holds, especially in the football world where so many things can change overnight.”
