Dani Alves says he has not yet been offered a new contract by Barcelona - but insists he is not distracted by speculation over his future.
I think they will surely offer him a new contract given to their Fifa ban, hopefully he can perform better and also learn how cross the ball, Lol. See what Dani said after the cut.
"I have a contract until the summer," he told reporters in Barcelona.
"I'm
a Barcelona player and I'm not interested in negotiating an exit. I
want to finish these six months in the best way possible, and
afterwards, we'll see.
"At the moment I've not been offered a renewal. But I'm relaxed. It is what it is."
Right-back
has emerged as a potential problem for Barcelona, with Martin Montoya
also expected to leave the club in 2015 and Douglas having made an
inauspicious start to his Camp Nou career.
Dani Alves, however,
insists that leaving the club light on options - they cannot sign any
players in 2015 due to a Fifa ban - is not his concern.
"The problem of leaving them weak on the flank is not my problem, but Barcelona's," he added.
