Ancelotti scared of Atletico new boy Torres in Madrid derby

Carlo Ancelotti is wary of the potential threat posed by Fernando Torres when Real Madrid take on city rivals Atletico in the first leg of their last-16 Copa del Rey tie on Wednesday night.

Hehe, Mr Ancelotti is always a gentle man, for me, Madrid have absolutely nothing to worry about Torres, I think they should be more worried about Griezman not Torres. My take on this matter sha. But I still wish to see the old Torres back as a football fan. Continue to see what Mr Ancelotti said after the cut.

Torres is set to be thrust straight into the thick of the action as Atleti boss Diego Simeone looks to captialise on the feel-good factor surrounding the deal, and Ancelotti has noted the possible danger he could bring.

"Without playing, Torres has already brought excitement," the Italian told reporters on Tuesday. "He has received affection.Torres experience and in this environment playing for his old club he will have extra motivation."

In the first meeting between the two sides in La Liga earlier this season it was Atletico who ran out 2-1 winners at the Bernabeu and Ancelotti praised Simeone's side as one of the best in Europe.

"We know them very well. We have played many times and will play them again this season. They are a tough team because they have great organisation. We have always tried to do our best to win. They are one of the best teams in Europe."
