Thegoalmac has learned that Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal believes his side still need to improve after their 3-0 victory over Liverpool - but is happy that the win has pleased his wife.
Personally I enjoy listening to Van Gaal's press conferences a lot, cause you never can tell what he will say, he is such an interesting character, mostly in a very good way. Read what he said about his wife (above) being happy on Man Utd beating Liverpool.
"We have to improve but we are very pleased because we know how
important it is to win against Liverpool," Van Gaal told reporters. "Our
cook is happy, my wife is happy so I am happy."
United are third
in the Premier League table, eight points behind leaders Chelsea, but
Van Gaal refused to discuss title talk after the game.
"I think the most important match is the next match and we have to see match by match," he said.
"Of
course we are winning six matches in a row [and it] is fantastic but we
have to improve our play style. I say that every week."
