Valdes brought to Manchester United to replace De Gea?

Thegoalmac understands that Goalkeeper Victor Valdes has been brought to Manchester United to replace David De Gea, not to be a back-up to the Spain international who is being linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Hmmmm, if this is actually Man Utd Plans, then I think its a bad one, because Dea Gea is young and good,but Valdes is already in his thirties and nobody is sure how his form is right now.
