Tottenham 1-2 Stoke City: Bojan shines for Stoke as Totttenham flops again

Thegoalmac can reveal that a sensational goal from Nacer Chadli proved too little, too late for Tottenham as a largely awful performance saw them beaten 2-1 at home by Stoke City in the Premier League.

A horrendous first-half display saw Mauricio Pochettino's side carved open twice by the Potters, who scored through Bojan Krkic and Jonathan Walters.
Spurs improved somewhat after the break and Chadli's magnificent volleyed goal in the late stages gave them an unexpected lifeline but that soon fizzled out when Kyle Naughton hacked down Victor Moses to prevent a clear goalscoring opportunity and was sent off.

Victory lifts the visitors back into the top 10, while Tottenham's third league defeat in four matches sees them slip into the bottom half.
