Thegoalmac can reveal that Brendan Rodgers says Liverpool deserved more from their 2-1 defeat to Chelsea, claiming his side should have been awarded a late penalty for Gary Cahill's handball in the box.

"We’re very disappointed," Rodgers told reporters. "We feel we deserved something from the game.

"The technology coming into the game has been great but it's bitterly disappointing. It's a big decision we didn’t get. It was a clear handball."
