Liverpool ask Gerrard to take pay cut

Thegoalmac understands that Liverpool want Steven Gerrard to take a 50% pay cut to stay at Anfield. The Reds are willing to offer their captain a two-year deal worth €115,000 a week for the first year and falling to €75,000 for the second year of the contract.
