Nawao ! Sneijder 'owed one million euros' by Galatasaray

Nawao, thought its only in Nigerian league that they owe players, didn't know it could also happen in Europe,at a club as big as Galatasaray,as midfielder Wesley Sneijder has revealed that he has not been paid by the Turkish club in recent weeks,Thegoalmac understands.

Sneijder, 30, is currently under contract at Galatasaray until 2016, but could now be seeking an early exit from the the club, Dutch paper De Telegraaf reported.
The Netherlands star, who joined Galatasaray from Inter Milan in January 2013, confirmed that he is currently waiting for his salary.

"It's true that I wait for money," Sneijder told the paper. "Galatasaray are working on sorting out their finances."

According to the report, Sneijder is currently waiting for one million euros. However, the midfielder insists he is just concentrating on his nation's upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Iceland.

"But right now I focus on Oranje. My management is in talks with the club to find a solution."
Should Sneijder seek an early exit from the club, he could turn to FIFA and bring an action against

Galatasaray that would lead to a termination of his contract and the Netherlands star becoming a free agent.

Only this summer, Galatasaray lost Bosnia international Izet Hajrovic on a free transfer. The 23-year-old signed for Bundesliga side Werder Bremen when FIFA allowed him a move without a transfer fee following the Turkish side's failure to pay him.
