Jonny Evans has backed his Manchester United team-mate Luke Shaw, to develop into the best left-back in world football.
Does he have the potential?Simply yes,can he develop to be the best left back or end like other hyped English talents?Time will tell, continue to see what Mr Johnny said...
He told United Review: "I had the chance to work with Luke in pre-season and there is no doubt he is going to be the best left-back in the world.
"I watched Marcos [Rojo] at the World Cup and thought he was excellent
for Argentina whether he played at left-back or left wing-back - and he
can play centre-back too."
Evans also had praise for two other
summer recruits, Daley Blind and Ander Herrera, who both started the
demolition of QPR, with the Spanish midfielder scoring his first goal
for the club during the 4-0 rout.
He added: "Ander has settled
in brilliantly. He's a great lad and the way he played in pre-season
showed just what a good player he's going to be.
"I watched
Daley in the World Cup and he was very impressive. The manager knows him
well and he's come through the Ajax youth system, which is something
the manager had a lot of input into so he'll understand the manager's
way of playing really well."
