There will be only two new faces for October’s friendlies, with
Inter's Dodo and CSKA’s Mario Fernandes replacing Real Madrid’s Marcelo
and Roma’s Maicon.
It was also confirmed that former international and 1970 World
Cup-winner Edu Americo would succeed Mauro Silva as temporary assistant
coach.
Dunga’s second spell as Brazil coach began earlier this month with 1-0 victories over both Colombia and Ecuador.
His first squad since returning as coach featured just 10 of the 23
that Luiz Felipe Scolari took to a World Cup semi-final defeat in July.
All 11 of the newcomers that made up the 22 for September’s friendlies have retained their places in the squad.
