The
Catalans got their season off to a flier as they beat Elche 3-0 at Camp
Nou, despite Javier Mascherano's red card late in the first half.
The 18-year-old has spoken of his pride at starting his career in such fashion and hailed the entire team's performance.
"I'm very happy with my debut, the goal and the team's work," he told Canal +.
"The truth is that it's an honour to score at Camp Nou, play alongside Lionel Messi and all the first team players.
"Luis Enrique told me to keep doing it this way. I hope to get some minutes, I'll keep working and see what happens.
"He's
a coach who asks us to work, work and work. That's what I've done and
that's what I'll keep doing. My goal is for my parents, my brothers and
all my family who supported me."
