Manchester United new boy Marcos Rojo has kept his place in new Argentina boss Gerardo Martino's first squad ahead of a friendly clash against Germany in Dusseldorf.
Rojo,
who is set to move to Old Trafford in a £16 million deal, is joined in
Martino's 20-man squad by Manchester City stars Sergio Aguero, Pablo
Zabaleta and Martin Demichelis and new Swansea City signing Federico
Fernandez.
There were no surprises in Martino's selection, with
the players included all in Alejandro Sabella's World Cup team in Brazil
- with Argentina-based Fernando Gago, Agustin Orion and Maxi Rodriguez
all left out.
Those three, among others, may yet be added to the interim squad for
the friendly on September 3, with regulations stipulating only
foreign-based players can be selected as it stands.
The European-based contingent, though, are all in the mix for their World Cup final rematch.
