England captain Wayne Rooney is set to be dropped for England's upcoming clash against Slovenia, according to Sky Sports.
The Manchester United man struggled in the 2-0 victory over Malta on Saturday, with a section of supporters at Wembley jeering the Three Lions' all-time record goalscorer.
And Rooney may now have to settle for a place among the substitutes as Gareth Southgate prepares to field a midfield duo of Eric Dier and Jordan Henderson in Ljubljana.
