Barcelona cool interest in Arsenal defender Bellerin

Barcelona are ready to cool their interest in Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin and look elsewhere for a new right-back, according to the Daily Mirror.

Bellerin started his career with Barcelona before joining Arsenal as a 16-year-old in 2011 but has been heavily linked with a return to the Catalan club as a long-term replacement for the departed Dani Alves.

He is also a reported target for the Gunners's Premier League rivals, Manchester City, but Arsenal are determined to keep the 21-year-old at the Emirates Stadium.

The north Londoners' stance is now prompting Barcelona to consider alternative targets for the right-back position, with Valencia's Joao Cancelo reportedly a serious option to join Luis Enrique's side instead.
