Manchester United stars unhappy over potential Mata sale

Manchester United’s players will be unhappy if Jose Mourinho sanctions the sale of Juan Mata, according to the Manchester Evening News.

The report claims that the Spaniard is well liked in United’s dressing room and the decision to sell the midfielder would be ‘very unpopular’ amongst the players.

It’s also suggested that Mata is not worried by Mourinho’s arrival at Old Trafford, even though the Portuguese allowed him to leave Chelsea in January 2014, and is happy to stay at the club.

Mata is set to face more competition for a place in United’s side following the arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund.
