Liverpool overcame Huddersfield Town 2-0 on Wednesday thanks to Marko Grujic's strike from a well-worked counter-attack followed by Alberto Moreno's clincher.
Jujrgen Klopp started January signing Grujic alongside summer arrival Sadio Mane, and the pair were instrumental in the build-up to the Serbian's strike.
A flowing counter saw Mane release Roberto Firmino and the Brazilian directed the ball into the path of Grujic, who swept home with aplomb.
Liverpool could have won by a more comfortable margin, but Philippe Coutinho saw his penalty saved two minutes later, after Mane had been brought down in the area.
Still, the Reds were able to wrap up the win when Moreno made no mistake from the spot at the death, sending the Huddersfield goalkeeper the wrong way.
