Rangers 2-1 Warri Wolves: Narrow Win Keeps Flying Antelopes In Title Race

Enugu Rangers moved to the second position in the Nigeria Professional Football League table courtesy of a 2-1 win against Warri Wolves at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu on Friday night.

Flying Antelopes started the game on a bright note with Obinna Nwobodo slotting the ball past Dele Ajiboye to give them the lead on seven minutes.

The Flying Antelopes went two goals up six minutes before the break when Godwin Aguda converted from the spot after he was pulled down in the box by Ajiboye.

The visitors pulled a goal back two minutes before the break through Zinte Udeh.

They were however unable to find a way through the Rangers defence in the second half with Rangers holding out to secure maximum points in the game.
