Germany 3-0 Slovakia: Magic Draxler Sends World Champions Cruising Into Quarters

Julian Draxler was Germany's hero with a wonderful performance, as the World Cup holders downed Slovakia 3-0 to make the Euro 2016 quarter-finals.

Jerome Boateng opened the scoring after just eight minutes with a strong volley, but Mesut Ozil let the outmatched Slovakians off the hook when he erred from the spot.
Draxler, however, put Joachim Low's men beyond reach with a fine assist to set up Mario Gomez, before he crashed home a volley from close range to settle matters.
