Barcelona didn't want Kaka to present Ballon d'Or award to Messi

Hehe, does it really matter who presents the award? Barcelona did not want Lionel Messi’s fifth Ballon d’Or award to be presented by a former Real Madrid player, according to a new report in Spain.

Madrid-based newspaper Marca claim that the Spanish champions were unhappy that Kaka was selected to present the award to Messi.

The report suggests that Barcelona held talks with Fifa and proposed that Luis Suarez and Hristo Stoichkov, two players who previously won the Ballon d’Or during their time at Camp Nou, were selected to present the award instead.
