Joleon Lescott fired Aston Villa to just their second Premier League win of the season as they beat Crystal Palace on Tuesday.
Remi Garde's men have been stuck at the bottom of the table for the entire season but moved to within four points of second-bottom side Sunderland thanks to the defender's second half strike.
There was some luck involved as Lescott found the net just before the hour mark, as he rose to meet a corner and send a header straight at Hennessey. The keeper made a meal of it and spilled the ball across the line.
