Stoke City Eye January Move For Super Eagles star Anthony Ujah

Premier League side Stoke City are plotting a move to sign Werder Bremen striker Anthony Ujah

Following a poor start to the season, Stoke City have managed to make a good recovery in recent months and the Potters are slowly getting themselves into reckoning for a European finish.

New signing Joselu has flattered to deceive so far while Peter Crouch is out of favour, leaving only Bojan and Mame Biram Diouf as the reliable options for Hughes to choose from.

Now Hughes is scouring the market to improve his attacking lineup during the January transfer window and it can be revealed that the Welshman is eyeing a move for Anthony Ujah from Werder Bremen.

Ujah only joined Werder over the summer from FC Koln and has managed to impress, scoring 7 goals in 14 appearances in all competitions.

Ujah’s performances have caught the eye of Hughes and it is believed that the Stoke boss is planning to make a £8million bid to land the services of the 25-year old in January.
