Manchester United are weighing up an enormous offer for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez, while Real Madrid are also keen on the Chilean, according to Don Balon.
Louis van Gaal is known to want a winger blessed with speed and creativity, with Sanchez ticking both boxes, but would need to fork out around £53 million to have any hope of landing him.
Arsenal are determined to hold onto their talisman, but the Red Devils can take hope from Arsene Wenger's previous stance on Robin van Persie, who eventually made the switch from north London to Manchester.
Madrid, meanwhile, see Sanchez as a potential heir to Cristiano Ronaldo and rate him alongside Chelsea's Eden Hazard, another long-time reported target.
The Chilean may not be able to match Ronaldo's out-of-this-world goal hauls, but Madrid believe he is becoming a superstar of world football, with his profile constantly growing, and would make as big an impact off the pitch as on it.
