‘Fellaini should leave Manchester United in January’

Marouane Fellaini has been told to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window by Belgium boss Marc Wilmots.

Fellaini has played just 499 minutes of football for United this season, while Thegoamac understands that the club are not planning contract talks with the 27-year-old, whose current deal expires in 2018.

"A player who does not play for his club is annoying for a coach," Wilmots told Le Soir.

"Fellaini could play to support the attack, as the No.6. He has very good technique, very good ability to track back and recover.

“Maybe he will try to find a new challenge in January, if it is possible."
