Manchester City have not made an offer for Kevin De Bruyne, according to Wolfsburg boss Dieter Hecking.
The Belgium international has expressed a desire to join City this summer, and the Premier League club are confident that a deal can be completed before the end of the window.
Reports in Germany have claimed that City are planning a €72 million (£50m) offer for the 24-year-old but Wolfsburg’s manager has denied receiving a bid for the midfielder.
“We have no offers from Manchester City. Full stop,” said Hecking.
