Jackson Martinez's agent has spoken of his anger at the behaviour of Porto president Pinto da Costa during negotiations with Atletico Madrid.
The Spanish club have activated the striker's €35 million release clause, but Luis Henrique Pompeu says the move has been far from smooth.
Martinez's representative revealed on Tuesday that Atletico had won the race for the 28-year-old ahead of AC Milan, who had previously been confident of striking a deal.
Pompeu told A Bola: "I sent a fax with a formal offer of €35 million to activate the buy-out clause for Jackson Martinez, as clearly stipulated last year.
“It was a surprise to me that the Porto president would not meet me. I demand some respect and want him to fulfil what has been agreed.”
The Atletico deal will eventually be completed upon the Colombia international's return from Copa America duty.
