Wright taunts Van Gaal over allowing Welbeck to leave for Falcao

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has mocked Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal over his decision to allow Danny Welbeck to leave the club in favour of Radamel Falcao ahead of the 2014-15 campaign.

Welbeck ended United's FA Cup dreams by netting the winner in Arsenal's 2-1 victory at Old Trafford on Monday, while Falcao has netted just four goals in all competitions for Van Gaal's men so far this term, and Wright feels the former Netherlands boss made the wrong decision.

"So LVG, you said Danny Welbeck didn't score enough goals so you bought Falcao. That worked out well," Wright said on his official Twitter account.
