Real Madrid star Gareth Bale says he still finds playing for the Santiago Bernabeu side to be "surreal".
The Welshman made a €100 million move to the Spanish capital back in
2013 and helped Carlo Ancelotti's side to instant success, scoring in
the Copa del Rey and Champions League final wins.
However, he does not always feel comfortable with the level of
scrutiny that comes with playing in Madrid and went on to reveal that he
hates being nutmegged by one of his team-mates when he is in training.
"It is a bit surreal to be called a 'Galactico'," Bale is quoted as saying by AS.
"The one thing you don't want is to be on the end of a nutmeg -
especially with rows of cameras. We are always getting killed out there
and I just try not to let it be me.
"Whenever someone gets nutmegged, we are all jumping and joking."
Bale, who has found himself being booed by sections of the Madrid
crowd this term, has scored 12 goals in 35 appearances so far in
2014-15.
