Luis Enrique believes that Luis Suarez is playing a more "prominent" role at Barcelona following his goal in the 3-1 win over Granada.
The former Liverpool man struck twice in midweek as the Catalans
overcame Manchester City 2-1 in the Champions League and followed it up
with another impressive performance in Andalusia.
Luis Enrique has defended the summer signing's performances in a slow
start to life in Spain but believes he is coming into his own now.
"Perhaps he is now more prominent than before but since he started
with us he has been playing at a high level. For us he keeps doing a
good job," he told reporters.
The former Roma and Celta Vigo boss went on to praise his side's
performance, particularly in the wake of their midweek European
exertions.
"First of all, I am very happy and satisfied with the work done by my
team, it was very difficult after the Champions League game," he told
reporters.
"I want to congratulate the team for the win, the good thing for both
teams was to string three passes together considering the condition of
the pitch."
