Cordoba 1-2 Real Madrid: Bale wins it from the spot after Ronaldo red

Gareth Bale was the hero for Real Madrid as his penalty snatched a 2-1 win over Cordoba on Saturday after Cristiano Ronaldo had been sent off.

The Portugal star lashed out late on but the Wales winger won a penalty and scored it himself to snatch all three points. Real battled from a goal down to win the match after Chilas scored a penalty for Cordoba in two minutes into the game before Benzema leveled for the whites in in the first half.
