Nani: I May Never Play For Man Utd Again

Manchester United Nani who is on loan at Sporting,after featuring against Chelsea in the Champions League on Tuesday,insists he is just focusing on improving after a difficult spell with the Red Devils.

“I don’t know [if I will go back]," he told reporters. "At the moment I just want to enjoy the football, I want to play, I want to be at my best and then let’s see what happens in the future.

"But at the moment I am a Manchester United player, so I’m just here to get back to my best."

Nani has scored twice in his first five matches since returning to Sporting after seven years in the Premier League.

He arrived alongside Anderson in June 2007 but both players gradually fell down the pecking order at Old Trafford and had become increasingly marginalised in recent seasons.

The winger was handed a lucrative deal until 2018 under David Moyes last September, but endured a torrid season as the club toiled in their first campaign since Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement.

United will pay the winger's wages in full throughout his stay in Lisbon.
