David Luiz:Barca Were Not Serious To Sign Me

David Luiz has claimed Barcelona also attempted to sign him this summer, but says Paris Saint-Germain wanted him more than the Catalans.

Two things i have got to say about Luiz transfer are,first Chelsea did one hell of a business with this guy's sale,50 million Euros for him is simply unbelievable,kudos to Jose and Co,

Secondly is that Barcelona made the right choice by not signing him,because that will be simply having two Pique's in one team Lol, kudos to Enrique and Co.Who agrees with me?Continue...


"It's true that Barcelona were in touch a few times and things were looking good," the Brazil international told AS.

"But in the end, I realised that PSG were the club that wanted me more and they eventually signed me."

The defender then went on to discuss Tuesday's Champions League encounter with Barcelona and singled out Neymar and Lionel Messi for special praise.

"I'm not surprised by what Neymar is doing. He has some unusual qualities and is a real phenomenon.

"Messi is another genius. He is a player unlike any other.

"But Barcelona have some more great players apart from Messi and Neymar. They have a very strong team, which allows them to play the football they play."

PSG were held to a 1-1 draw by Ajax on matchday 1, while Barcelona beat APOEL 1-0.
