For you, True or False? Monaco midfielder Joao Moutinho believes Radamel Falcao is still good enough to play for any club in the world despite his struggles at Manchester United.
The striker is on a season-long loan at Old Trafford from Monaco but
has scored just four goals in 12 starts for the club and looks unlikely
to turn the move into a permanent one.
That said, Moutinho has dismissed suggestions the Colombia star's powers are fading and described him as a "phenomenon".
"Whatever the club he would make a great impact. Now he is struggling
at United a little, but his qualities remain enormous. For me he is a
phenomenon. With his features, he can do great things in any team and in
any league."
Falcao's departure, allied to James Rodriguez's move to Real Madrid
last summer, left Moutinho as the sole remaining marquee name of the
wave of stars who joined Monaco in 2013.
But despite persistent rumours regarding his future, the Portugal
star remains happy at the club and revealed his desire to reach the
Champions League final ahead of the quarter-final with Juventus.
"We want to get to the semi-final and then the final," he continued.
"Arsenal were the favourites in the last round and we put them out. We
know we'll have to give 200 per cent but we can do it.
"Juventus are very dangerous and have a lot of quality. If I had to
name one player it would probably be Carlos Tevez, but they have many
threats.
He added: "I do not know what will happen in the future but for now I
am very happy at Monaco. If I do leave one day then I would like to
play in La Liga or the Premier League."
