Thegoalmac can reveal that Cruzeiro midfielder Lucas Silva aka 'New Kaka' admits it would be "a dream" to sign for Real Madrid and claims there has already been contact from the European champions.
The 21-year-old has emerged as one of the standout talents in Brazil
after helping Cruzeiro to back-to-back Brasileirao titles in the past
two years.
Having also been linked with Premier League giants
Manchester United and Chelsea, the Brazil youth international claims he
would relish the chance to join Carlo Ancelotti's outfit but would
prefer to play in the next Copa Libertadores before moving abroad.
"I
don't know if they are going to suggest presenting me in the middle or
at the end of the season, if I will stay for the Libertadores or not – I
still do not know how it will happen," he told SporTV. "But it would be interesting for me to stay for the Libertadores and then introduce myself in pre-season with the rest.
"It is going to be a dream."
Lucas
Silva has made 68 appearances for Cruzeiro and was part of the Brazil
Under-20 side which won the Toulon tournament in 2014.
